SMG Park & Ride

SMG Park & Ride is a Park and Ride service only 5 minutes away from Stansted airport. All you have to do is drive to the location and once your car has been checked over and handed to Smart Park you will then be given a shuttle ride directly to the airport. This shuttle is free so once you have booked you know everything is included and you can travel on knowing your car is in safe hands!
Smart Park will keep your keys as the car might need to be moved to optimise the parking spaces.
Please note that if your car is too large to fit in a standard parking space then there will be an extra charge of £40 to accommodate it, as it affects the car parks capacity.

SMG Park & Ride is secure facility with Security fencing, CCTV, Locked security gates and Flood lighting. All these things ensure that your car is safe while you carry on your journey.

When you arrive at the parking location please check in at the car park reception, here you will find a waiting area while there is a short wait for the next available shuttle to take you to the airport.

You must call us on our Operations No: 07946 069129 when you are 20 mins away. Our operating hours are from 04.00 - 23.55. The Airport Operation's number is available between 03.45 - 00.45. If you call outside of these times your call may not be answered.

Leave the M11 take the A120(W) exit towards B.Stratford. At the Birchanger Green roundabout, take the 5th exit onto Dunmow Road/B1256.Turn left onto Smith's Green. Your destination is 0.7 miles on your left. Please drive through the gates and follow the signs for Unit 6. If you are using a Sat-Nav, please set it for postcode CM22 6NZ

On arrival please report to the car park reception and present your confirmation. Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your last recommended check-in time. When you arrive at our car parking site, you will be quickly checked in and provided with a receipt. One of our friendly drivers will transport you directly to the Airport on the next available shuttle. Please note: There is a transfer charge of £1 Person each way for transfers. Under 5's are Free and this is payable in cash on arrival

Please note if you are running, either early or late, we will endeavour to accommodate your new arrival time but cannot guarantee that you will be on the next shuttle.If you are more than 60 minute outside of your original booking time a £20 rebooking fee will apply, subject to availability. If you arrive more than 2 hours after your booked arrival time your booking maybe deemed a 'no show' , the booking will be cancelled and any monies paid will be forfeit.

Upon your return, once you have collected all of your luggage and are ready to leave the airport, please call the Operations No: 07946 069129. Our friendly operator will guide you to the pick up point where you will be collected on the next available shuttle.

If you are returning earlier or later than your booked return time/date, we will require a minimum of 24 hours notice to make any changes. A £20 rebooking fee will apply. If we do not receive sufficient notice we cannot guarantee the return of your vehicle at your new arrival time and additional charges may apply.

NB: Overstays will be charged at the rate of £20/day, or part thereof, payable in CASH to the driver. . *Free offer may be subject to change without notice.
