    On the road information:

Before leaving, it is important to check your vehicle to make sure that it has no technical defects. After all, no one wants to realize it on the day of departure and be late for check-in. To avoid unnecessary stress please follow the following tips.

Check vehicle fluids, including engine oil, coolant, and fuel. Also make sure that your tire pressure is correct, including that of the spare wheel. In addition, please check if your lights are functioning correctly for a safe trip.

    Petrol stations

Cars can run on multiple fuels, petrol, diesel, LPG even electricity. We recommend you fuel your car before you leave but should this not be possible petrol stations will be available on yourway to the airport. To safe costs we recommend filling up in built-up areas. Please take note that LPG is not always available at built-up areas for safety reasons. Most petrol stations alongside the highway have electrical charging stations. Please keep in mind that charging your electric car will take some time.

    Roadside assistance

Roadside assistance is something we all hope we never need it, especially when we are traveling to the airport. Make sure you have the phone number for your roadside assistance company saved on your phone. In case of car trouble you’ll want to be helped as soon as possible.

    Maximum Speed

We reckon that you are probably familiar with traffic regulations. But to ensure safety and prevent traffic jams we would like to remind you of the following speed limits:

    • Motorway: 70 miles per hour
    • Dual carriageway: 70 miles per hour
    • Single carriageway: 60 miles per hour
    • Single-track road: 60 miles per hour
    • Built-up areas: 30 miles per hour

Please pay attention to road & motorway construction and check traffic conditions before you leave.
